Export policy for ships and floating structures permits free export for listed vessel categories under ITC(HS) Schedule 2.

The ITC(HS) 2022 Schedule 2 sets classification rules for Section XVII and Chapter 89 and lists HS subheadings for ships, boats and floating structures. Notes govern when parts are excluded, treatment of multi-modal and air-cushion vehicles, and classification of incomplete hulls under heading 8906. The schedule enumerates vessel categories and subheadings-cruise ships, ferries, tankers, fishing vessels, yachts, motorboats, tugs, dredgers, floating platforms, warships, patrol boats and floating structures-and records the export policy for each listed subheading as Free.
