of <h1>GST Rate Set at 18% for Copper Plates, Sheets, and Strips Over 0.15 mm Thickness, Correction Issued</h1> Copper plates, sheets, and strips with a thickness exceeding 0.15 mm are subject to a Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate of 18% under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) and 9% each under the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) and State Goods and Services Tax/Union Territory Goods and Services Tax (SGST/UTGST). The thickness specification was corrected from a previous value of 0.12.5 mm as per a notification dated July 27, 2017.
