of <h1>Tax Changes: Edible Offal Removed from Schedule 2, IGST 12% or CGST/SGST 6% Each, Effective Nov 15, 2017.</h1> Goods previously subject to a tax rate under Schedule 2, which included IGST at 12% or a combination of CGST at 6% and SGST/UTGST at 6%, have been omitted as per notification no. 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017. Before this omission, the schedule covered 'edible offal of bovine animals, swine, sheep, goats, horses, asses, mules, or hinnies,' which were frozen and packaged in unit containers.
