GST on specified equine meat products remains applicable until the stated sunset date, subject to notification. GST applicability on specified equine meat products (meat of horses, asses, mules or hinnies, frozen and put up in unit containers) is governed by Schedule 2 and remains subject to GST until the stated sunset date of 21-09-2025; the entry was previously omitted by notification no. 43/2017 w.e.f. 15-11-2017 after earlier description as frozen equine meat in unit containers.
