GST classification for frozen sheep and goat meat in unit containers altered following notification omission affecting Schedule coverage. An entry in Schedule 2 applied GST to meat of sheep or goats frozen and put up in unit containers until 21-09-2025; that entry was omitted by notification no. 43/2017 with effect from 15-11-2017, and the prior descriptive wording identified frozen sheep or goat meat in unit containers as the covered product.
