<h1>New SION for Heavy Ends: 0.820 MT Crude Oil per Metric Ton, Catalyst Cost Capped at 0.1% FOB Value.</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for Heavy Ends (HE) products, including furnace oil, fuel oil, asphalt, petroleum coke, waxes, and sulfur, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. It specifies that for every metric ton of HE, 0.820 metric tons of crude oil are required, and the cost of catalysts and chemicals used in refineries should not exceed 0.1% of the export's FOB value. It excludes lubricating oils and petrochemical products. Export specifications do not need to follow Chapter 27 of ITC (HS) if they meet foreign buyer requirements.
