of <h1>New SION Guidelines: Middle Distillates Export Requires 1.072 Tons Crude Oil; HSD, ATF CIF Limit at 0.25% FOB</h1> The Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for Middle Distillates, including products like ATF, SKO, HSD, Gas Oil, and others, as per the Foreign Trade Policy. For every metric ton of Middle Distillates, 1.072 metric tons of crude oil and relevant catalysts and chemicals are required, with the CIF value of these limited to 0.1% of the FOB value of exports, except for HSD and ATF, where it is 0.25%. The norms exclude lubricating oils and certain petrochemical products. Export specifications may differ from Chapter 27 of ITC (HS) if they meet foreign buyer requirements.
