Standard Input-Output Norms prescribe the input-output ratio for mountings and findings manufactured indigenously under SION M3, with separate norms for handcrafted and mechanized production. Advance Authorisation for import of gold is capped at 100 kilograms, first-time applicants are subject to physical inspection of the manufacturing facility, and subsequent authorisations depend on fulfilment of at least 50% of the earlier export obligation. The authorisation holder must file fortnightly certified performance reports, and the regional authority must submit monthly consolidated reports to DGFT Headquarters.
