    <description>Section 534 requires that rules under the Act, Appellate Tribunal procedure rules under section 364, and certain notifications be laid before each House of Parliament for a specified cumulative period after they are made or issued. If both Houses agree, before the expiry of the following session, to modify or disallow a laid instrument, it will thereafter operate only as modified or cease to have effect; however, a savings clause preserves the validity of anything previously done under that instrument.</description>
