    <description>Where a document produced under this Act or any other law, seized from a person, or received from outside India is tendered by the prosecution against an accused, the court shall, unless the contrary is proved, presume the truth of its contents and the authenticity of signatures and handwriting, and that executions or attestations were by the persons they purport to be by; such documents may be admitted even if not duly stamped, if otherwise admissible.</description>
