    <title>2017 (1) TMI 412 - CESTAT, MUMBAI</title>
    <link>https://www.taxtmi.com/caselaws?id=337332</link>
<description>Unutilized deemed credit validly availed under Notification No. 6/2002-CE(NT) remained available for clearance of goods after withdrawal of the deemed-credit scheme through Notification No. 8/2003-C.E.(NT). As no provision required accumulated credit to lapse or be reversed as of 31 March 2003, subsequent withdrawal of the notification did not extinguish lawfully earned credit. The balance could therefore be used after 1 April 2003, and denial of such utilization was unsustainable.</description>
