Bonds carry a fixed nominal interest paid semiannually, are available in demat and paper form, have an eight year tenor with an exit option from the fifth year on interest dates, and the issue price is fixed by reference to the previous week&#039;s average gold price. KYC follows gold norms and capital gains tax exemption applies.</description>
