Residents may also open overseas accounts for prescribed business, study, travel, export, investment, and remittance purposes, subject to applicable repatriation requirements. NRE, FCNR(B), NRO, and SNRR accounts regulate non-resident deposits and rupee transactions, including joint holding, loans, redesignation, tax compliance, and permitted repatriation.</description>
