NSDL and CDSL are approved subject to obtaining a certificate from the Standardization Testing and Quality Certification Directorate of the Department of Information Technology; upon receiving that certificate and informing the Ministry they will be authorised to undertake electronic voting platform activities. The circular stresses Ministry approval and certified security standards for lawful electronic voting facilitation.</description>
