<title>Rectification of name of limited liability partnership</title>
    <link>https://www.taxtmi.com/acts?id=11122</link>
<description>The Central Government may direct an LLP to change its name when its initial registration or registration by a new name is identical with or too nearly resembles another LLP, company, or a proprietor&#039;s registered trade mark and is likely to be mistaken for it; a trade mark proprietor&#039;s application is maintainable within three years. After a directed change, the LLP must notify the Registrar within fifteen days with the Government order for amendment of the certificate of incorporation, and must change its name in the LLP agreement within thirty days of that certificate change. On default, the Central Government may allot a new name and the Registrar will issue a fresh certificate.</description>
