of <h1>Amendment Updates Jurisdiction for Central Excise Commissioners in Coimbatore and Salem Under Notification No. 31/2003-CE(N.T.)</h1> Notification No. 31/2003-CE(N.T.), dated 09/04/2003, amends the jurisdiction details in the earlier Notification No. 14/2002-CE(N.T.), dated 08/03/2002, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs under the Central Excise Rules, 2002. The amendments update the jurisdiction of the Commissioners of Central Excise in Coimbatore and Salem. For Coimbatore, the jurisdiction now excludes certain villages in Mettupalayam and Coimbatore North Talluk. For Salem, the jurisdiction includes additional areas in the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Erode, and specific villages in Coimbatore and Dharmapuri Districts in Tamil Nadu.
