Liquified Petroleum Gas Now Included for Export Under Bond to Nepal and Bhutan per Amended Notification No. 45/2001-Central Excise.
The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended Notification No. 45/2001-Central Excise (N.T.) to include liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in the list of products allowed for export under bond to Nepal and Bhutan. This amendment, effective from January 30, 2003, changes the wording in sub-para (3) of para 1 to replace 'petroleum oil and lubricant products' with 'petroleum oil, liquified petroleum gas, and lubricant products.' This modification expands the scope of products that can be exported under bond to these countries.
