Enterprises, proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for IT and IT-enabled services at Ananthasagar Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Warangal District in Andhra Pradesh under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government approved this proposal, confirming compliance with the Act's requirements, and granted approval on July 30, 2007. The notified SEZ area covers a total of 10.12 hectares, comprising specific survey numbers. This notification, originally issued on September 17, 2007, was rescinded by a subsequent notification on February 23, 2023.
