No. 32A Now 'Nil' Under Section 5A of Excise Act 1944.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 6/2002-Central Excise, dated March 1, 2002, under Notification No. 74/2003-Central Excise, dated October 20, 2003. This amendment, made under the authority of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944, changes the entry in column (4) against S. No. 32A in the notification's table to 'Nil.' This adjustment is deemed necessary in the public interest. The original notification and its subsequent amendments were published in the Gazette of India, with further amendments noted in Notification No. 02/2004-Central Excise, dated January 8, 2004.
