of <h1>Central Government Extends Rehabilitation and Education of the Blind Project in Gujarat for Three More Years Under Section 35AC</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the Rehabilitation and Education of the Blind project in Gujarat, conducted by the National Association for the Blind, for an additional three years starting from the assessment year 2003-2004. Initially recognized in 1997 and extended in 2000, the project is deemed to be executed properly by the National Committee. The estimated cost of the project is 5,445,000 rupees. This extension is in accordance with section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, allowing for continued tax benefits for contributions to this project.
