Rekhaben Kataria Smruti Trust in Morbi, Rajkot, Gujarat, for purchasing equipment and providing facilities for intra-ocular lens operations. Initially recognized under notification S.0.676(E) dated August 11, 1998, the project was extended for three years starting from the 2004-05 financial year. The project's cost has been revised from Rs. 33 lakhs to Rs. 45.75 lakhs, following recommendations from the National Committee for the Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, indicating the project's proper execution and expected extension beyond six years.
