of <h1>Indian Women Scientist Association in Vashi gets tax approval under Section 10(23C) for 1997-2000 with conditions.</h1> The Central Government has approved the 'Indian Women Scientist Association, Vashi, Navi Mumbai' under section 10(23C) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for assessment years 1997-98 to 1999-2000. The approval is subject to conditions: the association must apply its income exclusively to its objectives, invest funds only in specified forms, maintain separate accounts for any incidental business, file regular income returns, and, upon dissolution, transfer surplus assets to a similar charitable organization.
