Name change under section 10(23G) permits correction of enterprise approval to reflect the new corporate name. The Central Government amends Notification No. 319/2001 to substitute Bharti Mobinet Ltd. for the previously approved enterprise name, under powers conferred by clause (23G) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, to reflect a fresh certificate of incorporation while retaining reference to the original license agreement and the former corporate name.
