of <h1>Renewal of Approval for Hutchison Telecom under Section 10(23G) of Income Tax Act Until 2015-16 (23G)</h1> The Central Government has renewed the approval of M/s Hutchison, Telecom East Limited (formerly M/s Usha Martin Telekom Limited) under section 10(23G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. This approval is effective from the assessment year 2002-2003 to 2015-16, ending November 29, 2014, as per the license agreement dated November 30, 1994. The approval is contingent upon compliance with section 10(23G) and rule 2E of the Income Tax Rules, 1962. Non-compliance, cessation of eligible business, or failure to maintain and audit accounts will result in withdrawal of approval. Investments must adhere to section 10(23G) provisions.
