of <h1>Excise Exemption for Programme SAMYUKTA Supplies Extended with Conditions; Valid Until December 1, 2000, Under Central Excise Act 1944.</h1> The Central Government, under the powers conferred by the Central Excise Act of 1944, has amended a previous notification from March 1995 regarding excise exemptions. The amendment specifies that all goods supplied to the Programme SAMYUKTA under the Ministry of Defence are exempt from excise, provided a certificate from the Programme Director is submitted before clearance. This exemption is valid until December 1, 2000.
