<h1>Amendment to Notification No. 14/2002-Customs Redefines Jurisdiction of Chief Commissioners in Pune and Mumbai</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, issued Notification No. 79/2007-Customs (N.T.) on August 10, 2007, amending Notification No. 14/2002-Customs (N.T.) dated March 7, 2002. The amendments redefine the jurisdiction of Chief Commissioners of Customs and Central Excise. Specifically, changes were made to entries for Chief Commissioners in Pune and Mumbai. In Pune, the jurisdiction now includes Commissioners of Central Excise for Pune-I, Pune-II, Pune-III, and Goa, and Commissioners of Customs, Pune. In Mumbai, the changes affect the jurisdiction of Chief Commissioners for Customs at Nhava Sheva and the Mumbai Airport and Air Cargo sectors.
