of <h1>Government Updates Export Policy: Adds Biosafety Equipment & Revises Aircraft Parts in ITC(HS) Appendix 3 Schedule 2</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, has amended Appendix 3 to Schedule 2 (Export Policy) of the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2004-2009. Two new entries, 3 D 004 and 3 D 005, have been added to include equipment related to P3 and P4 facilities and complete containment facilities at these levels, as specified by the WHO biosafety manual. Additionally, the description of entry 5 F has been revised to include 'Micro-light Aircraft and powered hang-gliders and their parts.' These changes are made in the public interest.
