<h1>Amendment to ITC(HS) 2004-09: Copper Imports from Sri Lanka Allowed via Specific Indian Ports under ISFTA.</h1> Notification No. 08/2004-09, dated November 10, 2004, issued by the Central Government under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, amends the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 2004-09. It adds import licensing notes to Chapters 74 and 85, specifying that copper and its products under certain Exim Codes may be imported from Sri Lanka under the ISFTA through designated Indian ports and dry ports, including Nhavasheva, Chennai, Tuticorin, Cochin, ICD Tughlakabad, ICD Mulund, ICD Ludhiana, and ICD Pithampur. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
