of <h1>Government Temporarily Lifts Export Restrictions on Sea Shell Handicrafts for Six Months Under ITC (HS) Classification</h1> The Central Government has temporarily lifted export restrictions for six months on handicraft items made from sea shells. This amendment, effective from September 17, 2004, affects items listed under entry no. 41 in Chapter 5 of the ITC (HS) Classification, specifically HS Code Nos. 0508 00 20, 0508 00 30, and 0508 00 50. These items, which are not included in the schedules of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, will follow the export policy in force before August 30, 2004. This decision is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
