of <h1>India Updates Import Policy for Superior Kerosene Oil, Designating State Trading Enterprises for Distribution</h1> The Government of India has amended the policy for the import of Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2002-07. The amendment specifies that the import of SKO will be conducted through State Trading Enterprises (STEs) such as IOC, BPCL, HPCL, and IBP. The State Trading Corporation (STC) is designated as an STE for supplying to Advance Licence holders, who also have the option to import SKO from these STEs, including STC. This amendment is issued in the public interest and modifies the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 2002-07.
