of <h1>New Amendment Allows Free Export of Anthranilic Acid with NOC from Narcotics Commissioner of India</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued an amendment to the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items for 2002-2007 under Notification No. 23(RE-2003)/2002-2007. This amendment, effective from November 19, 2003, adds a new entry under item code 2901 for 'Organic Chemicals' in Schedule 2, specifically for Anthranilic Acid. The policy allows free export of this item, but requires a No Objection Certificate from the Narcotics Commissioner of India for certain related items. This change is made in public interest.
