of <h1>India Revises Export Import Policy 2002-07: Easier Import for Export Without License, Effective Immediately.</h1> The Government of India has amended the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07, concerning 'import on export basis' and 'export of imported goods.' Under the revised policy, new or second-hand capital goods and related items may be imported for export without a license, provided they are freely exportable and meet certain conditions. Additionally, goods, including restricted items (excluding prohibited ones), may be imported under Customs Bond for export in convertible currency without a license, given they are freely exportable. These changes are implemented in the public interest and are effective immediately.
