of <h1>India Updates Foreign Trade Policy: Clinical Thermometers Added to Import List, Notification No. 19/2002-2007</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 19/2002-2007, amending the import policy under the Foreign Trade Policy 2002-2007. This amendment, effective from November 18, 2002, involves changes to the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items. Specifically, two new items have been added to Appendix III of Schedule 1 (IMPORTS): Clinical Thermometers, Solid Stem Type (IS 3055 Part 1: 1994) and Clinical Thermometers, Enclosed Scale Type (IS 3055 Part 2: 1988). This amendment is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
