<h1>India Revises Export Policy for Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram Onions, Reduces STE Service Charges Under Foreign Trade Policy 2002-2007</h1> The Government of India has amended the export policy for Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions under the Foreign Trade Policy 2002-2007. Effective from June 28, 2002, service charges levied by designated State Trading Enterprises (STEs) will be reduced to a maximum of 2% of the invoiced value, further reducing to 1% from April 1, 2003. KAPPEC and KSCMF will manage the export of Bangalore Rose Onions, while APMARKFED will handle Krishnapuram Onions, following procedures established by NAFED. These organizations will issue No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and certify consignments for export.
