of <h1>India Lifts Import Restrictions on Specified Goods Under Notification No. 13(RE-2001); Effective May 21, 2001.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has withdrawn restrictions on imports of specified goods as outlined in Notification No. 13(RE-2001)/1997-2002, effective from May 21, 2001. This decision, made under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, amends the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items for 1997-2002. Consequently, Notification No. 11(RE-2001) dated May 2, 2001, and Notification No. 12(RE-2001) dated May 8, 2001, are revoked. This action is taken in the public interest and communicated by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
