<h1>India Extends Export Deadline for Onions Until August 31, 2000, Except for Specific Varieties</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has issued Notification No. 30 (RE-2000)/1997-2000, amending the export policy for onions. The amendment extends the last date for exporting all varieties of onions, except Bangalore rose onions and Krishnapuram rose onions, to August 31, 2000. This change is made under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and is reflected in the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002. The notification is issued in the public interest and communicated to all relevant parties.
