of <h1>Government Amends Export Policy Allowing Onion Exports Under ITC(HS) Code 0703 Until June 7, 2000</h1> The Central Government has amended the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, allowing the export of onions under ITC(HS) Code No.0703 until June 7, 2000. This amendment is pursuant to the powers conferred by the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and is in continuation of previous notifications dated February 9, 2000, April 26, 2000, and May 17, 2000. The amendment specifies that shipments of exports, for which No Objection Certificates (NOCs) were issued in May 2000, can occur until the specified date. This decision is made in the public interest.
