of <h1>Export Restrictions Imposed on Raw Hides and Skins; License Required Except for Fish Skins Under Foreign Trade Act, 1992.</h1> The notification dated March 31, 2000, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, amends the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items for 1997-2002. It restricts the export of raw hides and skins, excluding lamb fur skin, requiring a license for export. However, fish hides and skins are allowed for export without restrictions. The amendments include the deletion of references to 'Austria or' and 'Finland or' in specific item descriptions and the removal of certain serial numbers in Appendix 1 of Schedule 2. These changes are made under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, for public interest.
