of <h1>Central Excise Member Authorized to Issue Orders per Rule 12CC; Notification No. 1/2007 Superseded by No. 6/2012</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs authorizes a Member of Central Excise to issue orders according to Notification No. 32/2006-CE(NT) dated December 30, 2006. This authorization is in line with Rule 12CC of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, and Rule 12AA of the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, established under the Central Excise Act, 1944. The notification, dated January 19, 2007, is identified as Notification No. 1/2007 - Central Excise (N.T.) and has been superseded by Notification No. 6/2012 CE(NT) dated March 13, 2012.
