of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Diclofenac Sodium from China to Protect Domestic Industry; Retroactive from Feb 2002.</h1> The Central Government of India has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on Diclofenac Sodium imported from China, under Notification No. 76/2002-Customs dated August 8, 2002. This decision follows findings that the chemical was exported to India below its normal value, causing injury to the domestic industry. The duty is set at US$ 3.06 per kilogram and applies retroactively from February 7, 2002, when the provisional duty was first imposed. The applicable exchange rate for calculating the duty will be determined by the rate specified in relevant government notifications, based on the date of the bill of entry presentation.
