This duty applies to clear and tinted glass varieties, excluding green, reflective, and processed glass for decorative, industrial, or automotive purposes. The duty, effective from January 7, 2003, is specified in US dollars per metric tonne and varies by producer and exporter. The notification remains valid until January 6, 2009, unless revoked earlier, with duties payable in Indian currency.
