of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Acyclic Alcohols from Brazil, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, and South Africa</h1> The notification imposes definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of Acyclic alcohols (Oxo alcohols) such as Normal Butanol, 2-Ethyl Hexanol, Iso Butanol, Sabutol, and Octanol from Brazil, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, and South Africa. The duties are implemented based on findings that these products were exported to India below their normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duties are specified per metric tonne in US Dollars and apply to various producers and exporters from the subject countries. The duties are effective from September 5, 2002, and are payable in Indian currency.
