India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Hydrofluoric Acid Imports, Excluding 70% Concentration, to Protect Domestic Industry
The Central Government of India has imposed an anti-dumping duty on Hydrofluoric acid imported from the People's Republic of China, except for acid with a 70% concentration. This decision follows findings that imports of Hydrofluoric acid, excluding the 70% concentration, were priced below normal value, causing price depression and financial losses to the domestic industry. The duty applies to various concentrations and packaging forms, calculated as the difference between specified amounts and the landed value. The duty is effective from March 28, 2002, and will remain in force until March 27, 2008, unless revoked earlier.
