of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Russian PTFE to Protect Domestic Market Until 2010</h1> On November 18, 2004, the Indian government imposed an anti-dumping duty on Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) imported from Russia, following a review by the designated authority. The investigation revealed that PTFE was being exported to India at prices below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. Consequently, a definitive anti-dumping duty was enforced to prevent further dumping and injury. The duty is calculated based on the difference between a specified amount in U.S. dollars per kilogram and the landed value of the imported goods. This notification was set to remain in force until November 17, 2010, unless revoked earlier.
