Initially imposed provisionally in September 2003, the duty was confirmed in April 2004 following final findings. The duty, set at 7.18% of the CIF export price, applies to imports from any producer or exporter in China. This measure aims to protect the domestic market from the adverse effects of underpriced imports and is effective until September 4, 2009.
