The duty, effective from July 9, 2003, is calculated as the difference between a specified amount in US dollars per square meter and the landed value of the goods. This measure aims to protect the Indian industry from the adverse effects of such imports. The duty applies to all grades of Green Veneer Tape, regardless of the producer or exporter.
