of <h1>Anti-dumping duty imposed on Chinese Metronidazole imports to protect local industry, effective April 2000 to April 2006.</h1> This notification establishes an anti-dumping duty on Metronidazole imported from China, effective from April 17, 2000, to April 15, 2006. The duty is calculated as the difference between USD 12.27 per kilogram and the landed value of the imported Metronidazole. The decision follows findings that Chinese exports were priced below normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. The duty is levied under section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and the Customs Tariff Rules, 1995. The landed value includes assessable value under the Customs Act, 1962, excluding certain duties.
