<h1>Customs Notification 133/2000: Export Duties on Leather Set, Certain Goods Exempt; Superseded by 27/2011 Effective March 2011.</h1> This notification, dated October 17, 2000, sets export duties for various types of leather under Notification No. 133/2000-Customs, pursuant to the Customs Act, 1962. It exempts certain leather goods from customs duty beyond specified rates. The rates are as follows: E.I. tanned leather at 15%, snake skin at 10%, raw fur lamb skins at 10%, and luggage leather at 25%. Finished leather and several other categories like clothing leather, industrial leathers, and shoe upper leathers are exempt from duty. The notification was later superseded by Notification No. 27/2011-Customs, effective March 1, 2011.
