of <h1>India Appoints New Director General (Specific Safeguard) under Customs Tariff Rules, Superseding Previous Notification.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 33/2013-Customs (N.T.) on April 2, 2013, appointing an individual as the Director General (Specific Safeguard) under the Customs Tariff (Transitional Product Specific Safeguard Duty) Rules, 2002. This appointment supersedes the previous notification No. 112/2012-Customs (N.T.) dated December 21, 2012. The notification was authorized by the Under Secretary to the Government of India. This designation was later superseded by Notification No. 77/2013-Customs (N.T.) on July 19, 2013.
