This amendment involves editorial changes to align with the Harmonized System (HS) 2012 by substituting the entry in column (2) for serial number 118 with '2920 90 99.' This change is made under the authority of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment was published in the Gazette of India on 1st March 2013.
